Woah, what a wacky misunderstanding!

 

Oh I love love love pages like these that are relatively quick to draw.

I'll try to make up for artist me getting a bit of a break by writing more commentary for this page.

Recent choices made in the USA have me worried about the future of the LGBT+ community and LGBT+ content.  Mark my words, I will try to find a way to put as much gay content as possible in Sky Limit.  And none of that half-assed Disney shit, either. I'm talking yuri and yaoi on full (SFW) display. Someday soon. Have patience.

This will be my first time acknowledging the secret messages scribbled into the margins!

Today's are lyrics from the Paramore song "Liar". See if you can figure out what other song lyrics I pulled! (Not every page is song lyrics but a lot are). It's not meant to be recommended audio pairing for the page, it's just something I was listening to while working on the page that stuck with me. 

 

I've also tried to vary up the style of the graff by page to be (what I think) would work best. If I'm making an art battle shonen where graff is the main weapon, I gotta get real good at drawing many different types of it real quick! I like to think you can see my work improve in the margins of Sky Limit #1. It's a comic, coloring book, and black book in one!

 

("Black Book" is a graffiti term for a sketchbook used for practicing graff)

Speaking of graff, I'm going to a graffiti/skating/breaking/DJ block party the day this page uploads. I'm hoping to throw up some art cool enough to use for the back cover of Sky Limit #2! So much graffiti and pretty girls to draw, so little time....
