Can't sleep. Editing the website to help put my mind at ease.

For non-artists not in the know, sharing your sketchbook with strangers can be an unbelievably nerve wrecking experience. It feels so vulnerable. Like giving people a glimpse into a deeper form of your mind. And that's before you even get into their judgement of the skills on display to get there. Its hard not to feel like others can see every blemish, mistake and half-assed attempt in there. Now part of sharing art anywhere is being vulnerable like that, but sketchbooks offer a safe space. Contained and away from the public. A nice little garden to experiment and play with to see what works.

And hey, making mistakes is part of making things.
(For example, I ended up changing some URL names and messed up the date on the last two uploads. Can't change it back. Sigh.)

...I should use my sketchbooks more.
